Day 10, laying over at Cimmaroncito Camp. We got up early on Friday to climb and got some great views. Hiking to the Tooth of Time tomorrow. 

Made it to our highest elevation, 11,735: Mt. Phillips. Not an easy walk but glad we made it. 

Heck of a journey with very little signal. Will have lots to update when I do. Trail day 6, 5 nights left. 

Waking up among the Aspen and Ponderosa Pine trees at the Enchanted Moon Campground, 45 minutes from Philmont. 40 degree night is a change from June in Alabama. 

Great day started on the Cog railway and visiting the top of 14,110 Pikes Peak near Colorado Springs.

And then we traveled some beautiful country through southern CO into NM and ended at Taos. Ricky’s de Taos was best meal yet! And tenting at Enchanted Moon campground in Taos canyon. Philmont tomorrow!
